Student life encompasses many aspects, all of which cannot be covered in a few paragraphs.
The following are highlights of things that students will participate
in:
|
JOB TRAINING
While in the program, all
students are required to work. In addition to helping teach skills
which will be useful after graduation, the job training program also
helps offset the expenses of housing and care during a student's stay.
|
|
|
|
EDUCATIONAL TRAINING
During the first four to
six months of the program, a student will be enrolled in basic Christian
education classes. After the completion of the basic courses, the
student will then enter training classes, which are more in-depth
biblical studies covering all types of life topics.

COUNSELING
Counseling is instrumental is
bringing change to a student. While in the program, every student
is assigned a pastoral counselor and is seen at least once per week by
his / her counselor. Group counseling is also held one time per week in
order to give students time to share with each other (under
direction of a pastoral counselor).

CHURCH
All students are required
to attend Family Life Church. The church, which is located on the
Teen Challenge campus, provides a spiritual training ground for
students, their families, and the local community.
|

|
|
RALLY TEAM MINISTRY
Teen Challenge also
provides the opportunity to travel to various local churches to do
ministry. Students who participate in this must exhibit spiritual
progress in the program.
