The son of a pastor and missionary, Pastor Allan
Vann Horn was born and raised in central Florida. He is a graduate of
Teen Challenge and has been associated with the ministry for fifteen
years.
Diagnosed with
depression, chronic addiction and an anxiety disorder, he
spent twenty years frequenting psychiatric hospitals, clinics,
and drug treatment programs. He was hospitalized 13 times
before becoming a student of Teen Challenge. During his
last secular treatment program, he had deteriorated to the point
that doctors did not expect him to live.

Hearing the doctors' pronouncement of pending death, he cried out for
mercy to the God of his childhood, and Jesus stepped into the hospital
room where he was and began a new work in his life. Leaving his
business ventures in Los Angeles, California, he returned to central
Florida to enter the Teen Challenge program. Since graduating from the
program, he has dedicated his life to the ministry and work of Teen
Challenge.
A Missionary's Heart
Pastor Allan also has a heart for the nations.
Before coming to Pensacola, he served as the founder of Teen Challenge
International Barbados, and has worked as an international advisor in
various countries including Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and
St. Lucia. He has assisted extensively in the training of leadership
both nationally and internationally. He considers it an honor to have
worked with church leaders and well-known people such as M.C. Hammer,
Reverend Don Wilkerson, Jim Bakker, and Nicky Cruz.
