Autumn's Testimony

Hi!! My name is Autumn and I’m 27 years old. I was raised by amazing parents in a very loving home. Despite the fact that they had taught me good morals and principles to live by, at a young age I began making bad decisions. It seems as if in a blink of an eye I went from partying recreationally to being bound to a full blown addiction to drugs and alcohol.

My behavior was completely unacceptable and after trying many times to get it right and failing, I came to Teen Challenge. It was here that I found the wholeness that I had been longing for. There were many struggles throughout my journey at Teen Challenge, but the Lord had to break me in order to piece me back together again. As He mended my heart and healed my hurts, He also brought out a passion in me to serve others.

The Lord called me and I chose to say yes. Currently, I am working as a pastoral counselor for the Pensacola Women’s Center. Now I live a life with purpose…to help encourage those that feel hopeless through my own personal experience of God’s grace!!
