WHO MAY CALL FOR INFORMATION?
Families
and friends of a potential applicant may call to inquire and acquire
preliminary information concerning the program. However, because
the student entering the program will be the one to comply with rules
and policies, it is important that our staff speak with him or her prior to
entry. Also, please note that girlfriends and boyfriends may NOT have any
contact with a student while he / she is in the program. All potential applicants desiring to enter the program must:
-
Call the center for a pre-entry interview to determine eligibility,
unless incarcerated.
-
If an applicant is
incarcerated, he / she should submit a written request indicating his
/ her desire to enter the program.
-
In the event an applicant is incarcerated prior to entering the
program, family must provide needed history on the applicant to
determine eligibility.
Because
it costs Teen Challenge to provide housing and care for each student,
admission fees are required at the time of entry. Monthly support
is also required during the length of a student's enrollment in the
program. In cases of indigence, homelessness, or poverty, special
consideration may be given.
